Algebra 2 Problems
Algebra 2 Problems Algebra 2 problems always deal with the problem and the solution of the topics involved in Algebra 2 such as Linear equation, matrices, Quadratic equations, Radical functions etc. Algebra 2 problems are generally for practice purposes, but it also provides relevant hints as well proper solution of the problems. The following examples show the use of linear equation in real world situations. Example 1:- After 5 years, Amir will be 4 times as old as he is now. Find present age. Solution 1:- Assume, Present age of Amir = x After 8 years Amir Age = x + 5 It is clearly given in the problem, After 5 years Amir Age will be 4 times of his present age = 4x Therefore,x + 5 = 4x 5= 4x x 5 = 3x x = 5/3 Hence obtained, the present age of Amir is 5/3. Example 2:- If the student is having $50 in total and he went to shop to buy pen cost of $10. How many pen he can buy. Solution 2:- Given, Student has total money = $50 Individual cost of pen = $10 Now here we have to find no. Pens which he can buy, For this we have to divide the total amount of money by the individual cost of pen. This step is shown below:- Number of pen (worth of $10) he can buy with $50= = Total amount of money/ Individual cost of pen = 50/ 10 = 5 Therefore he can buy 5 pens with $50

How To Spend Your Internship Downtime
How To Spend Your Internship Downtime Image via: buprssa.com The answer to all of those is a big, fat no. (If your internship actually offers those options, feel free to tell us where youâre interning in the comments section. Iâm sure tons of readers would LOVE to know.) An internship is just like any other job and should be treated with the same amount of respect. At the same time, like any other job, the most important part is using your time appropriately to best suit the needs of your company and your personal and professional development. Hereâs some ways that you can spend your internship downtime wisely. Take Initiative Image via: The Devil Wears Prada Nothing will impress a supervisor more than by showing your ambition and independence. Throw yourself into a task without having to be asked. Do you have something due in a few days that isnât necessarily âurgentâ? Jump on it now! âI always say there is something you could be doing,â said Jessica Morgan, an education student at Florida State. âI am always keeping busy, cutting out stuff for the next day, cleaning up around the room, organizing, et cetera.â Not only will you be beating away several hours of boredom and twiddling your thumbs, but also you could be saving yourself later down the road when you find yourself swamped by other assignments. Just Ask Image via: www.huffingtonpost.com If youâre some sort of magic superhuman entity who has finished a dayâs work in half of that time, kudos to you! Weâre bowing to you in spirit. But, that doesnât mean that youâve been green-lighted to start spamming your Snapchat story. âAsk for something else to do,â suggested University of Central Florida grad Kate Mullen. Odds are, your supervisor is probably very busy and could use your help on something. Even if itâs just running down the street to grab them a much-needed cup of java, your assistance will be far from unrecognized. Simply shoot them an email or stop by their office and ask if thereâs anything else that you can do for them. Theyâll appreciate your go-getter attitude and your respect for their time and work. Maybe, if youâre lucky, theyâll set you off on your own adventure to do something youâve never done before. (My personal favorite was being sent around to deliver mail to other departments since some of them would offer me free pizza and cake but thatâs another story!) Do Your Homework Image via: www.britishskinfoundation.org.uk If your internship directly applies to the work industry you plan to enter after graduation (which it should!), you can spend your free time exploring your career options and deciding if this is the right full-time job for you. Think about it. If you find yourself getting bored doing the same tasks day by day, thereâs a chance this job may not be for you. However, you can take your time to find out what other interns in your position have gone on to do in their future; youâll be more educated on both your present and future circumstances. At the same time, you could be doing research on things that are beneficial to the company youâre interning with as well. âI intern at an advertising company and on my downtime, I usually do research on marketing trends and stuff that will be useful to the agency,â said Florida State student Brielle Olorunda. By doing this, you wonât only be passing your free time in an interesting and productive way. Your supervisor will be impressed by your initiative and dedicated interest in the companyâs work. âOur best interns are the ones whove known our product deeply and been able to offer ideas for it that we would never have thought of,â said Quizlet founder Andrew Sutherland. Although it may seem like interns are simply tiny cogs in a much greater machine, every moment spent working is important. For this reason, spending each moment wisely is absolutely imperative to your internship experience. Take Quizlet for an example. Interns have had a huge impact from the beginning at Quizlet. Our iOS app was first built and launched by a high school intern,â said Sutherland. Every moment you spend as an intern for a company has a greater impact than you may realize today. Make every second great and accomplish some amazing things! Snapchat can wait.
HOW TO LEARN ANY LANGUAGE ANYWHERE
HOW TO LEARN ANY LANGUAGE ANYWHERE We discovered this post on Backpacking Brunette, its a great blog written by Alex who is living her post-college life exploring new cities, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. In this particular blog post, she shares how she has been learning Spanish and how she uses italki to help her reach her language learning goals. When we read it, we wanted to share this with the entire italki community as its full of great tips and suggestions on how to get the most out of italki. Reposted with permission from Alex. Original post here. One of the reasons I decided to au pair in Spain is because Iâve always had an interest in learning Spanish. I completed four years of Spanish classes in high school, but unfortunately, I did not continue my language studies in college. I could kick myself for that now. In preparation of living in a village where the majority of people do not speak any English, I brushed up on my Spanish with the help of a website called italki. You can learn absolutely anything nowadays without even leaving the comfort of your home thanks to the internet. Itâs amazing. My boyfriend, Taylor, discovered the wonders of italki when he was searching for native speakers to practice his Spanish with (unlike me, he actually stuck with it in college). He also used the site to learn some Italian before we went to Europe! So, what exactly is italki? According to its website, italkiâs mission is to make human connections between language learners and language teachers. It believes anyone anywhere in the world can become fluent in a foreign language. Using technology, italki is revolutionizing the way people learn foreign languages. For example, this platform provides a way for someone interested in learning Spanish (me) to connect with a professional Spanish tutor. My tutor, Rocio, lives in Madrid and has a masterâs degree in teaching Spanish as a second language. From mid-July until my departure, we Skyped twice a week for hour-long lessons. Each lesson costs approximately 120 â" 140 italki credits (ITC) which is equivalent to 12 â" 14 USD. Now, thatâs super reasonable considering most private language tutors charge upwards of $20 an hour. You purchase ITC prior to scheduling sessions with a tutor. After the completion of the lesson, you receive an email asking you to confirm the lesson took place. Once you do, the tutor receives his or her payment through italki. Itâs that simple! Worried about not knowing what youâre paying for when you sign-up for a session? italki gives you three trial-sessions at a majorly discounted rate (50 ITC or 5 USD). It allows you to try different tutors out to see if their teaching style is a match for your learning style. In addition to connecting language students with professional tutors, italki also offers informal tutoring. Informal tutors are individuals who donât have a teaching degree but have a background that allows them to help you learn a language. For example, some informal tutors are interpreters or translators. Iâve never had a lesson with an informal tutor, but I think it might be a good option for people on a budget. Most lessons with an informal tutor are significantly cheaper than lessons with a professional tutor. It varies from tutor to tutor, but Iâve seen rates as low as six ITC or six USD an hour. Remember though, the person youâre paying isnât a professional! One of the coolest things about italki, in my opinion, is the language partners community. After you set up a profile, you can start chatting with native speakers in whatever language youâre studying. These conversations might start within italki messenger but later migrate to email, Skype, Facebook, Viber or Whatâs App. Every conversation is generally a 50/50 exchange. For example, for the first part of the chat with my language partner, we would speak in Spanish (the language Iâm studying). Then, for the second part of the chat, we would speak in English (the language my partner is studying). Oh, and did I mention finding and chatting with language partners is absolutely free? How cool is that?! Taylor has a lot of experiencing using the language partners part of italki. Not only has he improved his Spanish, but heâs also met some really cool people. In fact, when we were in Europe this summer, we traveled to Jaen, a city in the south of Spain, to visit his friend Daniel, whom heâd met through italki. We ended up staying with Daniel and his girlfriend for three days in his familyâs summer cottage. They showed us around their city, cooked us traditional Andalusian foods and provided us with a comfortable room to stay in free of charge. Staying with locals (and more importantly, friends) really made our time in Andalusia special. If it werenât for italki, Taylor would have never met Daniel, and we might have never had the opportunity to experience the Andalusian culture so intimately. According to italki, the global community has over a million language learners. You can learn anything from Spanish, French or Italian to Mandarin Chinese, Arabic and Hindi. If you want to learn a language, chances are there is someone on italki who can teach you. So, what are you waiting for? Check out italki today! What language are you interested in learning? Would you consider finding a professional tutor on italki, or would you rather meet with a tutor in-person?
Staying connected with loved ones back home while teaching overseas
Staying connected with loved ones back home while teaching overseas For many teachers, a big consideration when heading overseas to teach for any length of time is how far they will be from their friends and family back home. We understand that itâs easy to feel divided when the people that used to make your day-to-day more fun and familiar are half a world away, but weâve compiled some tips from current and past international teachers to help mitigate how much you miss your loved ones while teaching in another country. Maintaining good, healthy relationships with the people that you love back home will, in large part, dictate how successful your overseas move is. If you feel lonely and distant, it will be difficult for you to want to connect with locals and other expats in your new country. So use these tips to keep current with your family and friends! Be patient with yourself as you adjust to your new life teaching overseas. It will take some time for you to get into a good rhythm of regular communication with loved ones back home. Thereâs a lot to consider: time zones, work schedules, and making enough time to get out and experience some local culture too. Let your family and friends know back home that for the first little while, youâll be adjusting to a reasonable schedule and sorting out a regular communication schedule will take some work. Youâll eventually get into a rhythm that suits you. Schedule time to see each otherâs faces. Exchanging emails and providing your loved ones with the URL to your blog are both great things, but they shouldnât replace the important face-to-face time that is very possible now thanks to Skype, FaceTime, Google hangouts, and Facebook video chats. Even the good old-fashioned telephone is better! Just remember that actual human connection is really valuable and taking the time to hear the otherâs voice will go a long way. Understand that youâll likely have to do a lot of the heavy lifting. Your family and friends back home know that youâve gone to teach abroad for a new adventure. Some will want to give you some space so that you can reach out when youâre available, and others just wonât be good at keeping in touch with distant friends. This means that youâll have to do much of the reaching out when youâre interested in speaking with your family and friends back home. Donât let this get to you! If you can, visit. Or let them visit. Like we stated above, face time is critical to keeping your relationship strong. Many international teaching contracts will offer you two round-trip tickets over the course of your contract, so make sure you use them! Go back for a visit whenever you can find the time, or invite your friends and family to visit you and experience some of your life. Being able to show them around your new city and introduce them to your new friends is such a great feeling, and it also gives them a little more insight into your day-to-day when you Skype them back home! Do you have any tips for keeping in touch with family and friends while youâre teaching overseas? Have you received any great advice? If so, share with other teachers in the comments below!
January 28th is Data Privacy Day Choose Good Passwords and Hardware Wallets, Avoid Sensitive Posts
January 28th is Data Privacy Day Choose Good Passwords and Hardware Wallets, Avoid Sensitive Posts Today, January 28th is data privacy day. This day should remind us to protect our privacy, control our digital footprint and even to keep our money safe. How do we do that? For starters, Choose Good Passwords A good password consists of at least three types of characters: lowercase letters [a-z], uppercase letters [A-Z]and number [0-9]. They are also at least 8 characters long. Visit passwordsgenerator.net to generate such a password, for example: Hf9lyIwury6WX4Mv Never pick a password from this list: 12345612345678passwordqwertyabc123111111iloveyouadobe123123123adminphotoshoppassword1trustno1000000 Social Media Understand that all of your posts, pictures and comments on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter is stored forever. Practically, advertisers and the government have access to this information, create profiles about you. They then can better target ads or classify you as potential security threat. Be aware of this and constrain your digital footprint to nonsensitive areas. Keep Money Safe If you do online backing, good passwords are crucial. Better yet, use two-factor authentication (2FA). Essentially, whenever you log into your backing account, a code is sent to an authenticator app on your phone. You must read this code and enter when logging. Should you be fortunate enough to own crypto currencies such as bitcoin, your private keys are of utmost importance. If you lose them, or they are stolen, then no one can help. Therefore, my recommendation is: Hardware Wallets: Use hardware wallets to keep your private keys safe. A hardware wallet is a flash drive like device, designed specifically for storing your bitcoins. The Nano Ledger or Trezor brands are good choices. Rememberbetter safe than sorry.
Elements - The Math Equation
Elements - The Math EquationA little known fact about the elementary design math equations and their Elements is that they can be worked out in the different elements of a periodic table, called the Elements. This table represents the chemical elements of our world and has been widely used as a way to classify things. Elements are different than elements because they have different densities, and different compounds.Nowadays, you can work out elements in most science texts with the help of a formula such as Z = nCn, where Z stands for Zirconium, C stands for Cobalt, and n stands for Nitrogen. A proof will usually start from there, so what can be done if we know that? By using this equation we can now do the compound for Element A by taking the lowest value of the function ZZ or Z/C. The formula looks like a long equation in Arabic. We now have the formula to combine an Element A compound ZB/C.Next, we can see the Element A and find the Key that we need to break the formula down to El emental A and B. Since we are working with an abstract system, we can use the Natural Number System, which involves the symbols that are not mentioned above. When using natural numbers, we are using the same symbol every time, just replacing its value with one from the set, either positive or negative. For instance, A=1, B=0, which equals C=0, so A becomes C or vice versa. For the time being, we are going to use natural numbers for the element A, but there is a technique to create an Element A when we want to.Factorization is the easiest way to get the element. In fact, it is also one of the best ways to work out a formula that can be used for a given number. If we need an Element A, then we should use the formula C=A+a to work out the compound formula. Factorization can be easily explained. For the Base 10 scale, you simply multiply the coefficients of the natural numbers by the number. For instance, we could convert that C=x2, and then multiply the result by 10 to get an integer. Factoriation can be applied to any base. You might remember factorization being used in grade school math, especially when kids were doing fractions.Another way to think of it is to think of it as a geometric form. We can represent the elements as a regular diagram, much like a graph. In these diagrams, we are only going to write down the names of the elements. Instead of multiplying a formula by it, you would multiply a number by a certain number of horizontal lines. Then you divide it by the number of horizontal lines. As you can see, there are several ways to explain the Element Equation formula, but it is really just a formula. There are several ways to do the same thing, but it really depends on what your program allows you to do.

Team Up Tutoring for High School Students
Team Up Tutoring for High School StudentsTeam up tutoring may be used to have high school students collaborate with a college or university professor in regards to various subjects. The goal of team up tutoring is to increase the school's knowledge in certain subjects by communicating directly with an academic source. This form of tutoring provides students the chance to learn from an expert in their own special field. The advantage of team up tutoring is that the person whom the students are collaborating with at the university or college has a vested interest in the subject being taught. Because of this, it is much easier for the student to take direction and concentrate on learning the material as a whole rather than having to 'learn' from the professor, a teacher and his or her own interest in the subject. The academic source who offers the tutoring service is normally someone who has dealt with the school's academic department before. He or she can provide specific information reg arding the subject of the student's assignment and that of the professor's. He or she will also be able to provide the recommended reading materials and the topics of the class or the assigned homework. The tutor will also be able to discuss the potential problems that may arise when working with the professor's schedule. In some cases, this may not be possible, because the tutor would not be allowed to meet with the professor regularly or maybe cannot attend his or her class. In this case, the tutor is allowed to communicate his or her own schedule with the professor and attempt to accommodate them.Once the assignment is completed, the teacher will send the student a homework assignment with instructions. The assignment will specify the time and date that the assignment will be due. Once it is due, the student will have to choose which topics to write about.Students can meet at lunch or during the class to discuss the topics thatwere chosen. They can discuss the assignments at home or with other students who might be interested in the material being studied. To help the student keep track of what the teacher is teaching, the student will receive an electronic note pad that will provide the student with outlines of the lessons and the homework.Team up tutoring is most effective if the student's teacher or professor is already familiar with the course. Many teachers that are involved in a university or college department are also aware of other similar courses and will recommend such subjects to the student. The student can also communicate with his or her teacher about the material that the student is learning so that it is possible to arrange a time for collaboration.
